My name is Chris Rucker. I am a family member of many veterans, my grandfather, father, stepfather, and husband are all veterans I am the mother of one young boy who serves as Project PC’s youth program advisor. I have been with Project PC since it’s inception. I have served as Board Member, Secretary, and project Volunteer. I fully believe in Project PC’s mission, goals, and objectives. As Secretary, I support grants, funding, allocation, and communications. I volunteer in many capacities as well. By career, I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and mother. I have over ten years of professional educational experience serving youth with disabilities and their families. I offer Project PC and our Island County community a variety of knowledge, skills, and clinical experience including human rights education, medical advocacy, cognitive health coaching and teaching to all ages & abilities, communication instruction and facilitation, youth and adult STEAM enrichment, outdoor & environmental education, wildcrafting and organic gardening instruction, youth mentor and intergenerational program consultant, counseling and inspirational coaching. I am thankful for this avenue to serve my community.
