Project PC at Lakewood SummerFEST 2025 – Sharing sound, connection, and community with veterans and families.

A few weeks ago, Project Positive Change had the incredible opportunity to join the Veterans Resource Village at Lakewood SummerFEST 2025, thanks to a generous invitation from MusicWorks4Veterans and the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs.

Held at the beautiful Fort Steilacoom Park, the event was a powerful mix of music, connection, and healing. We were honored to share the work we do through sound and vibration, engage with fellow community partners, and connect with veterans, first responders, and families navigating their own healing journeys.

Whether it was someone stopping by to play a singing bowl, ask questions, or just sit and chat in the shade, each moment reminded us why we do what we do.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this possible — especially to MusicWorks4Veterans and the WDVA for including us in this incredible day of outreach and inspiration.

We’re deeply grateful to be part of this growing community of changemakers, and we can’t wait to collaborate again in the future. 💚
